Theme and Activation

iCIMS attended numerous trade shows throughout the year but nothing as critical as HR Tech. Spitball worked with iCIMS on a theme each year that helped stand out from the extremely overcrowded marketing that comes with trade shows. To play into the existing branding and Ike character, Spitball turned the beloved “Ike” into The King of Talent Acquisition.

Who doesn’t love The King? Elvis Ike, as he is lovingly known, started to have his own fan club, so much the illustrated version turned into a plush doll that was used in a room drop at local hotels to target trade show attendees.

But we couldn’t just stop there. We had to give the people what they wanted… to see The King of Talent Acquisition in real life at the trade show. So Ike became a full size mascot to walk among the people, snap a few Instagram pics and create a spectacle on the trade show floor.
