“SWEET STREET” SNEAKER LAUNCH

Saucony Originals introduces multiple limited-time sneaker launches during the course of the year that rally around specific thematics. Marketing assets are created which are shared with dozens of Saucony wholesale partners to help promote these releases through their own digital channels. Given the concept of “Sweet Street”, Spitball saw endless opportunities to add some playful energy that brought the concept to life.

LIGHTS, CAMERA… CANDY

Spitball staged, propped, lit and shot eight different set-ups. It required stringing gummy butterflies on fishing line, rigging a Sour Patch Kid to properly stand up, melding together cotton candy to imitate puffs of smoke, unwrapping over 480 Starbursts to create a dance floor and gluing Jolly Ranchers together to replicate a disco ball. All of which was a site to behold. The passion and personality of Spitball spilled over to make this a shoot that blew the client away. We truly love what we do, but it’s hard to think of when we had this much fun on a set.

Feedback poured in from wholesalers praising the quality of the assets and the launch experienced a faster than usual sell-out for a non-celebrity endorsed sneaker.
