Spitball was tasked with increasing brand awareness. After an intense research and discovery process, where we even taste tested sardines, Spitball developed a unique brand proposition. Season prides itself on innovation including developing new flavors and packaging. Innovation may not be the first thing you think of for sardines but Season has corned the market in delivering new ideas to market and being on the forefront of what consumers are looking for in sustainability and health conscious food brands.
To capitalize on this innovation-driven brand position, Spitball developed the brand platform of “Ahead of the Current” which speaks for itself in communicating the forward-thinking brand direction and promise to its consumers. The design uses old ocean current maps as a versatile backdrop to showcase its products, brand messaging, recipes and other communication.
