Spitball created a partner piece to the physical mailer house in the form of an in-depth video tour of the safe house led by 180 CEO Liz Graham. With high production quality and an emotional down-to-earth story of how residents are cared for from their first night to the day they leave to begin new lives, the tour captured how 180 is constantly setting new standards for the quality of their clients’ lives.
180 Turning Lives Around
180 Turning Lives Around provides survivors and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault with safety, housing, and the empowering care they need to turn their lives around. Spitball worked with this tremendous organization to raise funds for a significantly upgraded safe house.
With an ambitious fundraising goal, Spitball took the task to heart and created a direct mailer that shined a light for potential donors on how powerful an impact their donations would make. The Spitball Idea was to create a miniature 3D model of the safe house that used interactive storytelling to engage the viewer and prompt them to literally illuminate the house from a hole in the back wall, revealing how their donations would fill the real safe house with light and life.
Shining a Light on Hope
180 hosted a gala as the crowning piece of the fundraising drive. To help engage the participants and inspire further donations, Spitball turned the miniature mailer home into a 6 foot tall model that was dramatically lit on stage as part of 180’s keynote speech.
